What is a gypsy setting? A gypsy setting (also called flush or burnish setting) embeds each diamond directly into the band so the top of the stone sits level with the metal surface. No claws. No protrusions. Just a smooth, sophisticated band with the brilliance built in.

How sparkly is a gypsy-set diamond compared to a claw-set one? Quieter. Gypsy-set diamonds catch light from above only, so they sparkle as soft glints rather than the brighter flashes of a claw setting.
